Human Resources Supervisor

WORK LOCATION: Personnel Office (On Site)

DEPARTMENT: Personnel

REPORTING TO: Human Resources Director

PAY RANGE: $75,000 – $100,000

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations and providing strategic guidance to the HR team. This role requires a deep understanding of HR policies and procedures, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions and responsibilities of the Human Resources Supervisor are as follows:

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
• Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Conduct regular audits of HR processes and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide guidance and support to HR staff, including coaching, training, and performance
evaluations.
• Collaborate with management to address organizational needs and develop strategies for talent
acquisition and retention.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management.
• Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the receptionist and the uniform room attendant.
• Occasional travel to the company’s warehouse, restaurants and corporate office if needed.
• And all other duties assigned.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HR management, with demonstrated expertise in employee relations,
compliance, California wage & hour laws, and training.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and FLSA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate
with diverse teams.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience supervising and developing HR staff.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
effectively.
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English and Spanish is a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to work under pressure and meet company expectations and provide exemplary customer
service to our customers and employees.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Special Projects

REPORTING TO: General Manager

PAY RANGE: $70,000 – $75,000

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing digital marketing campaigns, and enhancing our brand presence across various online platforms. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions and responsibilities of the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator are as follows:
• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create and curate compelling content for social media channels, including but not limited to
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Manage social media accounts, including daily monitoring, posting, and responding to audience
interactions.
• Analyze social media metrics and insights to optimize performance and identify areas for
improvement.
• Collaborate with the Senior Management team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns,
including email marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM),
and paid advertising.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
• Coordinate with graphic designers and content creators to produce high-quality visual and written
content.
• Engage with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand reach and drive brand advocacy.
• Assist in organizing and promoting company events, product launches, and promotions.
• Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms and marketing materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator, Digital Marketing Specialist, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English and Spanish (preferred, but not required).
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with graphic design software and video editing tools is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Maintenance Technician

WORK LOCATION: LA Commissary

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance Department

REPORTING TO: Maintenance Supervisor

PAY RANGE: $19-$21

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Maintenance Technician/Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment for King Taco, production, other departments and its affiliates. Their duties include repairing machinery, plumbing, heating, wiring, welding, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards as well as scheduling major repairs.

 

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing routine maintenance for King Taco, production, other department and its affiliates; such as structural damage. Another example would be window, door, or wall repair
  • Repairs broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
  • Repairs damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
  • Maintenance of HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
  • Ensures measures are taken to reduce the risk of future problems for all King Taco, its production, departments and affiliates
  • Repairs potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
  • Paints buildings when needed

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Maintenance HVAC Certification (preferred)
  • Two-years of experience in general maintenance (preferred)
  • Bilingual English and Spanish (preferred)
  • California Driver’s License required and must be in good standing
  • Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clops, or other drainage problems
  • Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with building’s electricity
  • Able to use carpentry skills to handle basic repairs around the buildings
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or customers of the building in a pleasant manner
  • Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs

Warehouse Associate

WORK LOCATION: LA Commissary & Field

DEPARTMENT: Inventory/Distribution

REPORTING TO: Manage

PAY RANGE: $19 per hour

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Warehouse Associate is a professional who is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchasing orders and store policy. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail, to ensure delivery.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be able to read labels
  • Must be able to communicate with coworkers effectively
  • Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory
  • Inspecting products for defects and damages
  • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

 

EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Electric forklift
  • Manual pallet jack
  • Electric pallet jack
  • Floor scrubber

 

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Proven warehouse experience
  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products
  • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems
